Last week was truly remarkable as I had the privilege of hosting the ambassador of Sri Lanka to Sweden, H.E. Ambassador Kapila Fonseka, on his inaugural visit to Gothenburg. Fruitful discussions took place in meetings with key dignitaries, including the Governor of Västra Götaland, Mr. Sten Tolgfors, the Lord Mayor of Gothenburg City, Mr. Aslan Akbas, and the President of Västra Götaland Region, Ms. Rénee Bengtsson.
A delightful lunch at the Royal Bachelor’s Club brought together a diverse group of esteemed representatives from various entities and companies in the Gothenburg region. Additionally, the Sweden Sri Lanka Business Council, represented by Mr. Leif I Ohlson, organized a captivating breakfast event, followed by engaging visits to CONSAT, Elof Hansson Group, and MobilityGuard.
